Ana Germ

Dance education and work: Ana started her dance career in ballet slippers and in 2006 completed the B program - ballet - at the art gymnasium Maribor (today's Maribor Conservatory of Music and Ballet). She has participated in classical performances of SNG Maribor, later she decided to study modern and contemporary dance at the Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität in Vienna, where she received two awards for her dance production and choreography, and in 2011 graduated with honors. After returning to Slovenia, Ana participated in performances of Kjara Starič Wurst, Mojca Ussar and Edward Clug and started teaching ballet at the Glasbena šola Slavka Osterca Ljutomer. In 2012, she registered as self-employed in culture as a dancer and choreographer. In the 2013/14 season, she led the dance group II. gib at II. gimnazija Maribor. In the same season, she joined Tovarishia Dance Company at the Dance Centre, where she is still active today. Under the auspices of the Dance Centre, Ana created the interdisciplinary dance performance deTERMINATED, which saw its debut in 2015.
